2007 AGM Presentation

Grounds Redevelopment.                                                       Phase II of the project is well underway. The grass is growing in nicely thanks to the wet spring.                            You will notice a large mound of earth in the field. We were able to secure the earth from the Station Road reconstruction and create the hill without having to pay for transportation. The hill will be a central lookout over the field in the summer and part of the toboggan run in the winter. Delivery of the toboggan run will be late October!                                                                                          The driveway entrance to the complex will be relocated opposite of Carson Park Rd and the ditching will have been completed finishing the drainage plan for the parking lot, arena, and fields.

The LOOP - a 500 meter oblong pathway, will be created just south of the new hill. It will eventually be paved once the gravel has settled.

The washrooms are coming along slowly. With some luck and some more grant money, the washrooms should be ready for next summer - let’s keep our fingers crossed.   And finally - the water park design.

The CCLCC has hired a consultant to design the park and provide guidance for fundraising opportunities. To help make this a reality call Graham Eason @ 878-9452 or email at lcc1@mts.net
